Environmental Consultant for Contaminated Areas

In our group focusing on contaminated areas, you will work alongside 11 highly skilled specialists, project managers, and administrators who work independently and proactively on assignments related to contaminated sites. Your Future Role

As an environmental consultant for contaminated areas, you will for example:

  • work as a project leader, specialist, and administrator in both larger and smaller projects related to contaminated areas
  • conduct risk assessments and remediation investigations
  • drive issues related to material management in infrastructure projects
  • develop customer relationships and pitch your own assignments
  • commercially manage and lead our assignments
  • have great opportunities to work towards sustainable community development

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • relevant education from university/college/YH or equivalent experience gained from professional life
  • previous work experience in contaminated areas, for example from consulting, government, contracting, or client
  • knowledge in risk assessment

It is an advantage if you have experience in project management, qualified risk assessments, and remediation investigations.

You are curious, driven, and responsible. You are interested in developing yourself and in helping to develop your colleagues and clients, and you enjoy creating contacts both externally and internally. At Sweco, we value a good business approach as our points of contact are based on collaboration and good relationships.
